What’s new
Works on any device Patient Passport works on any web browser, including on phones and tablets. The Elation Passport app is also available on iOS and Android devices.- iOS users: download the app from the App Store

The patient’s chosen name is now used across more patient-facing surfaces, including appointment confirmation texts and calls, cancellation emails, the SMS opt-in page, booking confirmations, and the patient profile print view. Insurance, lab, pharmacy, and other compliance-sensitive workflows continue to use your legal name.
What’s changed
Easier sign-up Creating an account takes less than two minutes. Instead of receiving a code by text message, you will confirm your identity using your date of birth. New invitation email When your provider invites you to Patient Passport, you will get a new-look email from Elation. Just select the link in the email to get started. Access for family members and caregivers Your provider’s office can invite a parent, guardian, or caregiver to view your chart. Contact your provider’s office to request access for a family member or caregiver.What’s the same
- Your login email and password still work. You do not need to sign up again.
- You can still send and receive secure messages with your provider’s office.
- Your provider still controls what health information is shared with you.
- Visit summaries, lab results, and documents are still sent through Patient Letters.
